Distinctive Systems Limited (We or DSL) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your data.  This privacy policy will inform you how we look after your data when you use our app.

1. Important information

(a) Important information about this App

The App will only work if the company that you work for or are employed by (your Employer) has DSL’s Vehicle Maintenance Software (VMS).  If that is not the case then we recommend that you delete the App immediately.

The App will ask to use the camera on your device which it will use only to scan bar codes.  You must agree to this to be able to use all of the functionality in the App.

This app is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

(b) Purpose of this Privacy Policy

By using VMS Stock Control Barcoding App (the App) you will provide certain personal data to your Employer. Your Employer may collect personal data from you which may be stored on their servers. Your Employer will provide you with information about the way in which it uses the data which you submit through the App. 

DSL collect some technical data through your use of the App but do not collect any personal data.

(c) Data Controller

Your Employer will be the data controller of the data which you submit to them through the App.

• using the App (for example: details about your device);
• reporting a problem with the App.

The information you give us does not include any personal data.
